Jesús Manuel Caminero Carvajal

Jesús Manuel Caminero is a public accountant with more than 13 years of experience in external, forensic, due diligence and business valuation audits. He currently serves as audit leading partner at Baker Tilly Dominican Republic and as a university professor in the areas of finance and accounting.

He has led financial and systems audits for multinational, public, non-profit and manufacturing companies. He was responsible for implementing Baker Tilly's global audit methodology Global Focus in the country. His career includes experience in international firms such as Grant Thornton, in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, where he directed financial audit and due diligence processes, as well as valuation and post-acquisition internal audit projects.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the APEC University (UNAPEC) and a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC). He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the ICPARD, with exequatur No. 630-11, and is certified by SISALRIL for audits of insurance companies.
